Angela Godwin, MSN, RN, FNP
Bariatric Program Coordinator
Background
 Angela
Godwin is a Registered Nurse Practitioner and serves
as the Program Coordinator for the Mount Sinai Program
for Surgical Weight Loss. After she completed her Bachelor
of Science in Nursing at the University of Florida,
she obtained a Master's of Science at Columbia University
in New York City. With a background in primary care,
she is highly skilled in managing a broad range of obesity-related
health care issues.
Angela recently joined the Mount Sinai
Program for Surgical Weight Loss and now works closely
with both Dr. Herron and Dr. Kini to coordinate all
phases of the pre- and postoperative bariatric program.
As a bariatric patient, you will work closely with Angela
from your first visit to our office onward.
Certifications
Angela is board certified by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is licensed by the
State of New York as a Family Nurse Practitioner and
is proud to be a member of the New York State Nurse's
Association.
